How do I use this site?
In our world, it’s all about points. The amount of points you have determines what level you are on. You start at Level 1 and can get all the way up to Level 7. The higher your level, the more access you have to items in the virtual store to decorate your avatar and world. The main way you earn points is by reducing your carbon footprint, but there are many other ways as well--like playing and winning games, earning badges, inviting your friends to join, and refining your carbon footprint.

My World is where you manage and reduce your carbon footprint. You can see how different aspects of your lifestyle affect your footprint in the Environment page; refine your carbon footprint estimate in the Footprint Center ; reduce your carbon footprint by choosing from hundreds of actions and purchases customized specially for you in the Reduction Center ; and decorate your avatar and world in the Virtual Store .
Community is where you connect, collaborate and compete with others. From the Dashboard, you view recent activity and manage all your events, messages, friends and groups. Your Profile displays the cash, carbon and other resources you've saved, personal and professional information about you, your blog, photos, videos, events and friends. You can use the main search bar to find people, groups and events, or just browse for them in the people, groups and events tabs. Create your own groups or events at any time, invite your friends, and assign administrators and moderators to help manage them.
Games is where you play against others to offset you footprint and help promote renewable energy. Every time you play a game, one of our corporate sponsors donates money to offset 10 pounds of carbon dioxide. You also get an additional 10 pounds of carbon dioxide offset every time you win a multi-player game. So why play alone when you can help the planet even more by playing with others!
